By the application of common trade practices, which may include, but is not limited to, welding, metal working, machining, fitting, layout and electrical wiring, fault detection and material handling, the Millwright shall:
Trouble shoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, some electrical equipment of all shapes and sizes located at client premises or at the MTJ shop(s).
Build or otherwise construct or accurately fabricate parts, shapes, mechanisms and assemblies to meet client's specifications or need.
Read engineering drawings and blue prints.
Prepare written reports, complete forms and documents.
Calculate the cost of work to be performed and prepare quotes and estimates for clients, as necessary pass these to others for typing.
Obtain materials, components, parts, assemblies as required to complete repairs or fabrications, using trade directories, literature and supplier contacts, .
Other duties as required.
